Christmas Boat Parade in Beaufort!
A couple of salty sailor buddies showed up and joined Jody and I with front row seats on Freebird at the end of the dock… plus grilled burgers and rum of course!!
Mom’s First Catamaran Adventure
Laminate Repair with Ship Lap Look
I was nervous about how this would turn out, but Jody gets credit for the good idea. One of the speakers went bad and it was the opportunity to improve the seti. However, now the upholstery really needs to be redone.
Ian has passed!
These are images from my onboard webcam that show everything looks decent. On the video I can see the wind is still strong, its raining, and the marina is choppy.
Hang on Freebird!!!
Freebird is the green dot. We prepped for the hurricane and Freebird will ride the night out and we check on her in the morning. As long as the marina has power, I will be able to check on the onboard video camera.
New Bar Shelf!!
New Hatch Covers!!
I decided to spring for some spendier hatch covers. These should reflect the heat and have some insulative properties. The little 3M attached locks are brilliant for easy removal!
Anchor Restoration!!!
Anchors are expensive! So if I can get a little more life out of this one I will be happy. Plus, I think it looks better too. See you next week!
Episode 6 – Jan – Aug
