2. Hi Brian, Exciting things ahead for you! We just spent two months sailing from South Africa to Grenada, included about 4 weeks of stops in Namibia, St. Helena, Fernando de Noronha and finally my last stop now in Grenada. My friend Don Funk hired a seasoned skipper to guide our trip and he’s continuing on to Florida after some minor boat repairs here. It’s be great if you guys can hook up. There’s a wealth of experience and knowledge w the captain, Malcom van der Merwe, including canal passages.
   Also if you’re interested I logged the trip on Facebook, “Deck Monkey SV Merakil”. I also uploaded videos and pictures whenever we had wifi.
